Biblical archaeology is more than an academic science. Incredibly enough, it’s on the forefront of geopolitics in the Middle East today, because it relates a narrative of the people and cultures who inhabited the land of Israel from time immemorial. The unconsidered trifles from each archaeological dig speak volumes. Yet, archaeology cannot derive meaning from what it uncovers. It’s up to us find the lessons, knowing that those who fail to learn from the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them. In this two-part series, we highlight what the diggers have uncovered, shedding light on everything from the Exodus from Egypt to King David, King Solomon and beyond. It’s a true journey of discovery!>
